Think small: details like where to sit or what the uniform feels like matter deeply. Prepare, don't scare: build reassurance, not anxiety.

Celebrations should bring joy, not stress—but for neurodivergent learners, changes in routine, sensory overload, and unclear purposes can make them overwhelming. With thoughtful planning and a "less is more" mindset, every school event can become truly inclusive. The key? Plan the sensory context, add structure and clarity, and get to the point about why the celebration exists. Most importantly, ask all students "What will work for us?" Their insights are simple, practical, and powerful in creat
