Come together with other Y2 - 8 gifted learners in small classes for one day per week during school hours at one of our 4 units around NZ.

MindPlus OurSchool is our original “one day school” programme for gifted learners. Our specialist teachers understand neurodivergent learners and what makes them tick - and small class numbers enables personalised learning that focuses on each child’s strengths and interests.

If you want to apply for a MindPlus Scholarship in 2025 for a new student, you must have completed your MindPlus Application by 1 December 2024!

How do students participate?

With permission from the school, students come to our MindPlus unit for a full day each week, rather than attending their normal school.

When can my child start?

You can apply for MindPlus OurSchool whenever suits you! When your child can start will depend on a place being available, but it may be straight away.

Where are we located?

We have 4 units in Auckland and Christchurch, kindly hosted in local schools. Our current units are:

Auckland East - Riverina School, Pakuranga

Auckland West - Bruce McLaren Intermediate, Henderson

Auckland Central - Grey Lynn School, Grey Lynn

Christchurch - Isleworth School, Bishopdale

No MindPlus unit near you? MindPlus Online or YourSchool are great options too!

How do I refer a student or client to MindPlus OurSchool?

You can share information on MindPlus OurSchool with the child’s whānau and suggest the programme as an option.

Do familarise yourself with our other MindPlus programme options - Online and YourSchool - so that you can help the whānau assess what might best suit their needs in terms of logistics, costs and other preferences.

You could also discuss with your school whether you could offer MindPlus YourSchool yourselves to allow all your gifted and neurodivergent students to access the programme.

The MindPlus OurSchool application process needs to be initiated by the whānau or the organisation paying for the programme (eg RTLB Service).
