Celebrate Different Brains. Help Everyone Thrive.

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a global movement to recognise, celebrate, and support neurodivergent minds in schools, workplaces, and communities.

"As a teenager who is autistic and has ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia, my experience has been that people often focus on the challenges of neurological diversity. I wanted to change the narrative and create a balanced view which focuses equally on our talents and strengths.”

Siena Castellon, Founder

This year, our organisations are supporting New Zealand schools, workplaces, families, and communities to celebrate the strengths of neurodivergent brains.

Sharing Strengths:
The Power of Neurodivergent Brains

Neurodivergent minds bring unique strengths worth celebrating! This week, we’re highlighting five key traits:

Bold ideas, big imagination, and fresh thinking

Deep dives that bring ideas to life

Experiencing the world in powerful ways

Passion and drive that fuel action

Pushing boundaries and staying true to yourself.

Each day, we’re sharing on our socials:

  • What each strength is, why it’s common in neurodivergent brains, and how to harness it

  • Stories from Aotearoa’s neurodivergent community on how these strengths shape their lives.

Follow the conversation, and add your take!
How do these strengths show up for you or the neurodivergent people in your life?
Share your stories using #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek2025 and don’t forget to tag us!
